Gingerbread...

sidewalks?!?! :) so we're not quite traditional this year- didn't buy a kit, but did buy a whole lot of candy. Forgot to make gingerbread panels for houses, forgot to make "right" kind of frosting to stick graham crackers together with, ended up with flat panels of decorated graham crackers, and decided they looked like sidewalks. We won't win any awards for them, but they were fun and tasty to build!

Can't be as bad as me, last year we made them with graham crackers and Evan kept pushing so hard on them that they would fall apart so this year I GLUED (with real glue) graham crackers to milk cartons and then let them decorate them. We never eat them anyways, it is the decorating and eating the candy part that is most fun!!

Merry Christmas!!

Now this is MY kind of gingerbread, lol! I am totally not a baking kind of person (I do it sometimes, but I really do not enjoy it). I mean, I still have to put a main course on the table too...

Excuses, Excuses I know it's because you forgot to get the Shredded Wheat and Necco wafers for the rooftops Personally I don't need a reason to eat gumdrops at Christmas. but Sidewalks huh? I'll have to remember that. LOL
